Dana Kara Cavigny (b. 2001) is a an artist from Paris. She is currently studying at the ENSAPC (Ecole Nationale Supérieure D'arts de Paris Cergy).

This particular series, Black Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, is an anthem of joy. Painted from pictures taken at parties, I aim to question stereotypes and misrepresentations of black women as angry, hyper- sexual and violent. So I depict black women who are having fun, enjoying themselves freely, without the weight of misconceptions.
