Isabel Okoro (b. 2001 Lagos, Nigeria) is a visual artist currently based in Toronto, ON.

She is exploring the interactions between the motherland and the diaspora, and visualising an imagined world, Eternity, as a space to immortalise family, friends, and those she meets along the way.

Isabel holds a B.SC in Neuroscience and Psychology (High Distinction) from the University of Toronto.

Sometimes, mourning the loss of something dear can reveal a unique beauty.

Set in Santa Daeze, the oldest city in Eternity, a sweet grace revisits a compounded journey of some monumental loves.

‍

The gaze, a touch, one simple embrace, what love has the heartbreak left behind? After all, whatever happens now can never take away from what already happened, what was already spoken and lived. Does a hopeful resolve await us? It's impossible to tell, but for now I'll remember.
